hello! my name is mads! this website was started in February 2023, and is the first project i've done with html. it's basically the accumulation of all of my coding knowledge. i think of it like a little plant i am nurturing and sometimes forget to water for a few months. whoospies o(*￣▽￣*)ブ. i enjoy maintaining a space that really gets to feel like "me", especially since i'm not very fond of most social media (neocities is one of a whopping two sites i use with any regularity, haha). i have a lot of hobbies, but drawing and cooking are my main ones. i mostly illustrate, but also like to make up and design characters! most of the non-pixel or button assets around here were made by me :). i've also been a vegetarian for ~16-ish years now, but eat mostly plant-based nowadays. i'm currently studying art history with the goal of a career in museum curation- art history is a major passion of mine, too, but one that's harder to incorperate into a website... (￣﹏￣；) i also love music, and collect CDs- there's a list of which ones i own on my music page, which i try to keep updated! (though i've gotten a bit behind recently...) i've also started getting more into actively acquiring DVDs recently, but i don't have much of a collection yet. basically- i heart physical media. (semi-related... i also REALLY love comics!) i can be really shy, and have a hard time remembering to reach out to others, but i DO like to chat with people, so feel free to send me a message on my profile or guestbook here! :D

lists here- gonna go for a "ten [category] you can read/watch/etc to get to know me better" theme instead of just "favs"... i feel like it's tighter, plus it enables me to talk about things i love but wouldn't necessarily recommend, haha
